Wabi Sabi Guest Bath

Intrepid revamped the guest bathroom, focusing on the existing bathtub. The challenge was the costly prospect of replacing cabinet doors versus the entire vanity. By opting for a floating shelf instead of the cabinet, Intrepid achieved a cost-effective, impactful redesign, resulting in a modern, cozy design with generous storage.

A discerning client contemplates the addition of a new living space, pondering its utilization for personal purposes or as a dedicated abode for a live-in caretaker. This endeavor holds the promise of enhancing both the estate's functionality and the comfort of its occupants, while the estate's tranquil surroundings provide an idyllic canvas for such thoughtful augmentation.

It all starts with design, right? Not necessarily. This client began their full kitchen remodel without a designer to guide their choices. Intrepid was commissioned through an urgent phone call after the construction started to take shape; in a form that did not represent their vision. Intrepid was able to quickly design and guide changes, empowered with virtual, 3D renderings which allowed the client to see their dream kitchen come to fruition in real time before construction continued.

Transitional Powder Room

Clean lines. Minimalist clutter. Maximalist texture. This client was seeking a powder room that was cozy and earthy. A moody color palette that revolves around a stunning copper laminated tile strikes the perfect balance. Reflecting the only light source in the room, the metallic glow contrasts the dark and stormy walls. Plate steel that is fractions of an inch thick extrudes from between the tiles to create a self that gives a new meaning to “floating” while keeping this small space from feeling cluttered.

The goal for this primary bathroom remodel was to replace the existing bathtub with a beautiful walk-in shower, allowing the clients to age into their space with a layout focused on accessibility. They requested modern finishes in grey tones that continue into their primary bedroom.
